Cynthia Nato5.0 out of 5 stars A river of healingReviewed in the United States on July 28, 2024Format: Paperback Have you ever known of someone who got too close to a pastor? It happens in real life, and that's why I love this story. It's about deception and how one person can completely disrupt a church and destroy a family. The author cleverly weaves a tale full of rife and regret, realistic of today's world. I've seen this scenario unfold, but I haven't seen it before in Christian fiction. Sometimes the story is thoughtful and deliberate, and at other times riveting and fast-paced. The characters are believable, and they remind us of how easily it is for a person to get hurt in at church. But the best thing is that in "There is a River" the path to healing is laid out in front of us. I highly recommend this for people who have been dealt blows by someone who isn't what he or she seems to be.
